Two ways to cruise the Oslofjord

Most Oslo fjord cruises sell seats on a large sightseeing boat. Tickets start around 479 NOK per person, the trip lasts an hour and a half to two hours, and departures leave from Langkaia in front of the Opera House. For a quick look at the harbour they are good value — Fjord Tours and Norway's Best both sell tickets on the same electric vessel.

We run the private kind. The whole boat is yours: a Cormate T28 for up to seven guests, a local captain at the helm, and a route planned around your group. From 16,688 NOK for the whole boat, three hours on the fjord, drinks and Norwegian snacks included.

What you'll see

The harbour front comes first on most routes: Akershus Fortress, the Opera House and Aker Brygge seen from the water. From there your captain heads for the islands — Hovedøya with its monastery ruins, the summer houses on Lindøya, the quiet coves at Gressholmen, or Dyna Lighthouse on the way towards Bygdøy. Tell us what you want from the day, and the route is built around it: sunset photos in front of the Opera, a swim off the boat, a dinner stop at Lanternen.

Departure

Tjuvholmen allé 14 in central Oslo, a short walk from Aker Brygge and the Opera House.

Times

The 3-hour cruise departs at 10:00 and 14:00. The sunset cruise leaves at 18:00 and lasts 4 hours.

Price

One price per boat for up to seven guests. Drinks, Norwegian snacks and route planning included.

Weather

If we cancel for weather, you get a full refund or free rebooking.

Guest reviews

What guests say

“Simon was very accommodating and flexible, while still providing his experience and recommendations. We had a lovely picnic, beautiful weather, and an overall great time! Worth it if you don't like crowded tourist activities with a set schedule.”
Alexandra Franco
“Simon made us feel immediately welcome and was very flexible, tailoring the itinerary to our interests. Whilst exploring the fjord Simon was able to answer all of our annoying questions with his knowledge of the area. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we were all able to go swimming in a cute secluded spot with a family of ducks!”
Alex Halsey
“Simon took us for a tour of Oslos waterfront and had great information about the city and history of the area. After, we boated around the islands and coastline to see some of his favorite places.”
