The experience

A full day on the fjord

6 hours to explore the Oslofjord properly. Islands, swimming, lunch, and no rush.

Three hours on the Oslofjord is great. Six hours is a different experience entirely. With a full day, you're not watching the clock — you're exploring. You can reach the outer islands, find beaches that the half-day groups never see, stop for a swim whenever the water looks inviting, and still have time for a proper lunch.

The route is built around what your group wants. Some go south towards Nesodden and the quieter islands. Some head for the popular swimming spots around Gressholmen and Hovedøya. Others ask to visit Drøbak, the small fjord town famous for its Christmas shop and the fortress that sank the Blücher in 1940. Your captain will help you plan a day that makes sense — one that might include diving from the boat mid-fjord, stories shared over snacks, and a completely different perspective on Oslo.

For lunch, you can bring your own, pre-order a picnic from us, or stop at a seaside restaurant on one of the islands. Several of the fjord islands have small cafes and restaurants that are only accessible by boat — these are the places locals go, and they're worth the stop.

The Cormate T28 is built for days like this. It's fast enough to cover real distance, comfortable enough to spend hours on, and has a proper swim ladder for getting in and out of the water. Your captain handles the drone photography throughout — you'll leave with footage of the whole day, and memories that last a good deal longer.

"We had 6 lovely hours in the fjord discovering Oslo under another but charming angle."

Simon and Adrian arranged a fantastic voyage in the Oslo Fjord for our team day-out, sailing along the coast and into the fjord, with snacks and drinks, good music, diving from the boat mid-fjord, and sharing sailing tips and tricks.

Excellent afternoon sail with Simon and Adrian. We got to see Oslo from an entirely different perspective -- not just from the water but from two smart guys who educated us on modern Norwegian life, history and culture.
