Sørlandet evenings are long and low — the light stays golden for hours, and the sea usually settles as the day cools. The evening loop heads out the harbour mouth to Oksøy lighthouse with its red-banded tower, across to Grønningen on the east side, and home through the islands as the town's lights come on.
Bring something to drink and let the boat do the rest. If the evening is warm there's still time for a swim — the water holds the day's heat longer than the air does.
